NINA CRAMPTON
Nina is a passionate visual artist and teacher based in Seattle, WA. Having gained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Lancaster, she continued on to achieve her Postgraduate Certificate of Education from Exeter University. After teaching art in many settings, including adult education, private and public schools, summer camps, and prisons, Nina currently educates K-12th grade students full-time.
Born and raised on the picturesque south coast of England, Nina moved to the USA in 2002 with her three children where she fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. When she's not teaching or creating, Nina spends her weekends climbing and scrambling in the Cascade Mountains, volunteering with the Seattle Mountaineers, and riding her motorcycle through Washington's magical landscapes.
Nina conveys the vibrant vitality and diverse textures of man-made objects and flowers, carefully capturing each detail with colored pencils.
A member of the Colored Pencil Society of America, Nina has exhibited in both the UK and Washington State on a regular basis.
